Apart from being able to be in Colombia with your family for more than 180 days per year, you are eligible to apply for dual citizenship after just 4 year (2 years under a Migrant visa and 2 years under a resident visa).
The cost of the visa is around $324 USD. The cancilleria will charge you $54 USD to study your visa and $270 USD once you are granted your visa.
